I got this! ~ One Cool Thing, One Strange Thing Swap~

"One Cool Thing, One Strange Thing Swap"とは”いい物、おかしな物の取り替えっこ”という意味でThe Perfect Noseというブログ（海外）のTjさんが企画したもので届いた物で作って発表するものです。面白そうなので私も参加しました。そして今日ポストを見ると届いてました！誰から何が送られてくるか知らされていないのでワクワクしながら包みを開けると・・・、何てラッキーなの！インドシルクがたっぷり。何作ろうかな？型紙も入ってます。市販の型紙をあまり使った事がないのですが折角頂いたのでこの機会に使ってみようと思います。と、その前に、かなりかなり前から作っていたワンピ＆スプリングコートがやっと完成したので近々アップします。

These things arrived from Tj who organized "One Cool Thing, One Strange Thing Swap" on her blog The Perfect Nose. I was so excited when I opened the package because I never knew what's in there. How lucky I am!! They are just fantastic! I especially love the fabric! Thank you so much, Tj. I will get started with this stuff as soon as my work settles:)
Before that, I just finished a dress & a spring coat that I was making between work. It took me almost two months!! I will post it soon.

    この企画はいいアイディアすね。送った物を気に入ってくれたら嬉しいですしそれで何かを作るのも楽しそう。Jeycoさんはこれで何作るのかな？出来上がりが楽しみです。

    1. 面白い企画ですよね。私も楽しんでます。何作るかはまだ決めてないけど貰った型紙の中から作る予定です。ただ最近色々と忙しいので落ち着いたらさっそく作り始めます。

  2. Wooooah! You got it! I'm so happy (and I'm happy you like it, I thought that fabric would suit you)! Can't wait to see the dress and spring coat you've been working on as well. The patterns have a vintage amount of ease (bullet bras and 50s weirdness) but you should be able to fit them on your mannequin. See you around jeyco!

    1. Indian silk is one of my favorite fabric. So I'm really happy to have it! I took a look at all patterns. My size is smaller than any of them so I need to modify them to fit my size. But don't worry, I can do it and I will check the ease as well.

    2. Yea I remembered reading that on your blog earlier (about your liking for Indian silk) - I think this is raw handloom stuff (hence the slubby texture). Sorry the patterns aren't perfect I was worried that might happen but its easier to size down than up (and I didn't want to send a Japanese pattern book to Japan XD). No pressure, use them whenever you can and I hope you get good use out of them =D

    1. 私はインドシルクが大好きなので届いた時はびっくりしました。丈もかなりあるので何着も作れてしまいます。私が別の方に送った物と比べると恥ずかし気も。気に入ってくれた様なので良かったですけどね。
